Hadi Mohaghegh

Biography:
Hadi Mohaghegh was born in Dehdasht, southwest Iran, on July 27, 1978. He began his artistic career as a theatre actor and director in 1990. In 2000 he moved into television as an actor, designer and assistant director. In 2010, he started making films for television. Then, in 2013, he made his first feature film ‘Bardou’.
His films have won many awards in national and international film festivals, notably winning the Kim Jiseok Grand Prize at the 27th Busan IFF, 2022 with ‘Scent of Wind’.
That same year, the film won the ‘Mongolfière d’Argent’ at the 44th ‘3 Continents de Nantes’, being released in France to great success in 2023.
